Week of April 27, 2026 🚀

Dear Wynn Families,

 

Please review the following information carefully:

  • MAP Growth Assessment:  This week, our students will be participating in the MAP Growth Assessment for Reading. To ensure every child feels confident and ready to do their best, please note our testing schedule:  Tuesday, Grades 3–5, and Wednesday, Kindergarten–Grade 2. You can help your child succeed by ensuring they get a great night’s sleep, enjoy a nutritious breakfast, and arrive at school on time with a big smile! Let’s work together to make this a positive, stress-free experience for them.

  • Disney Production of The Lion King: Join us on May 1st and May 8th for our production of The Lion King.  The students have worked hard and are ready to put on a great show! Tickets can be purchased in the main office.  Doors open at 6:00 PM, and the show begins at 6:30 PM. Late entries will not be allowed.

  • Roundy ES Movie Night:  Roundy Elementary will be hosting a movie night on Friday, May 1st for Wynn ES and Roundy ES families.  See the flyers for details.

  • School Bell Times for 2026-2027:  Wynn Elementary School’s bell times will not change next year.  The gates will continue to open at 8:40 AM, and dismissal will be at 3:11 PM.

  • Mark your calendars for the following upcoming dates:

    • April 27th - May 1st:  K-5 MAP Growth Assessment in Reading

    • May 4th - May 8th:  K-5 MAP Growth Assessment in Math

    • May 4th - May 8th:  Teacher Appreciation Week

  • Evaluación MAP Growth: Esta semana, nuestros estudiantes participarán en la evaluación MAP Growth de Lectura. Para asegurar que cada niño se sienta seguro y preparado para dar lo mejor de sí, por favor tomen nota de nuestro calendario de exámenes: martes, de grados 3 a 5; y miércoles, de Kínder al grado 2. Ustedes pueden ayudar a que su hijo tenga éxito asegurándose de que duerma bien por la noche, disfrute de un desayuno nutritivo y llegue a la escuela a tiempo, ¡con una gran sonrisa! Trabajemos juntos para hacer de esta una experiencia positiva y libre de estrés para ellos.

  • Producción de Disney de El Rey León: Acompáñenos el 1.º y el 8 de mayo para nuestra producción de El Rey León. ¡Los estudiantes han trabajado arduamente y están listos para ofrecer un gran espectáculo! Las entradas pueden adquirirse en la oficina principal. Las puertas abren a las 6:00 p. m. y el espectáculo comienza a las 6:30 p. m. No se permitirá el ingreso una vez comenzada la función.

  • Noche de cine en Roundy ES: La Escuela Primaria Roundy organizará una noche de cine el viernes 1 de mayo para las familias de Wynn ES y Roundy ES. Consulte los folletos para obtener más detalles.

  • Horarios escolares para el ciclo 2026-2027: Los horarios de la Escuela Primaria Wynn no cambiarán el próximo año. Las puertas continuarán abriendo a las 8:40 a.m., y la salida será a las 3:11 p.m.

  • Anoten en sus calendarios las siguientes fechas:

    • 27 de abril al 1 de mayo: Evaluación de crecimiento MAP (K-5) en Lectura
