We hope your students had a wonderful first week of school! Please review the information below for important updates.

Beginning Monday, August 14th, families will not be allowed to walk their children to class. There will be many adults to assist your student with finding his or her classroom.

Students in grades 2-5 should enter the large gate in the front of the school on the east side of the building. This will ensure students can quickly enter the breakfast line and get to class. Kindergarten and first grade students should enter the gate in the front of the school on the west side of the building. Please make sure you line up in a single file line in the morning and afternoon and enter one at a time. The gate is small, and we want to ensure students enter safely. Please have your students to school by 8:40 AM, so they have time for breakfast.

On Thursday, August 17th, we will have an Open House from 4-6 PM. Students will be given a passport to bring to the open house. They will get the passport stamped as they visit different areas of the school. Once the passport is stamped, please turn it into the multipurpose room to be entered to win a prize.

Please remember to return the items to your child’s teacher that were in the back-to-school packet.

Our goal is that students attend school every day, all day! Teachers introduce new concepts daily, and we want your students to stay caught up. However, if your child is absent, it is important that an attendance note is turned in at the office or using the link below.

August 9th - 18th, MAP Assessment: All students in all grades will be taking the MAP Assessment. Results will help teachers create personalized learning pathways for all students.

August 17th, Open House: Open House will be on Thursday, August 17th from 4:00 - 6:00 PM.

August 31st, Fall Pictures: A flyer will be sent home with information about purchasing fall pictures.

A partir del lunes 14 de agosto, las familias no podrán acompañar a sus hijos a clase. Habrá muchos adultos para ayudar a su estudiante a encontrar su salón de clases.

Los estudiantes en los grados 2-5 deben ingresar por la puerta grande en el frente de la escuela en el lado este del edificio. Esto asegurará que los estudiantes puedan ingresar rápidamente a la fila del desayuno y llegar a clase. Los estudiantes de jardín de infantes y primer grado deben ingresar por la puerta en el frente de la escuela en el lado oeste del edificio. Asegúrese de hacer fila en una sola fila por la mañana y por la tarde e ingrese uno a la vez. La puerta es pequeña y queremos asegurarnos de que los estudiantes entren de manera segura. El jueves 17 de agosto tendremos una jornada de puertas abiertas de 4 a 6 p. m. Los estudiantes recibirán un pasaporte para llevar a la jornada de puertas abiertas. Se les sellará el pasaporte cuando visiten diferentes áreas de la escuela. Una vez que se selle el pasaporte, por favor entréguelo en el salón de usos múltiples para ingresar y ganar un premio.

Recuerde devolver los artículos al maestro de su hijo que estaban en el paquete de regreso a la escuela.

¡Nuestra meta es que los estudiantes asistan a la escuela todos los días, todo el día! Los maestros introducen nuevos conceptos todos los días y queremos que sus alumnos se mantengan al día. Sin embargo, si su hijo está ausente, es importante que entregue una nota de asistencia en la oficina o use el enlace a continuación.

31 de agosto, Fotos de otoño: Se enviará un volante a casa con información sobre la compra de fotos de otoño.
