This month we will be working with students on the character trait empathy. Please take some time to talk to your child about being thoughtful and aware of other people’s feelings. Remind them that we never know what hardship someone might be facing, and it is important to be kind and understanding. If we all show kindness even on our hardest days, we can make our Wynn Community a better place for our students and families!

Online registration is officially open. Please remember that all families are required to complete online registration. If you need help, please schedule time in the main office for us to assist! We are happy to help! Flyers were sent home with more information.

Wynn ES will have a book fair this week in the library. Families may come with their students from 3:15 - 3:45 this week, but must enter through the main office. We will line families up and let as many families in as possible while ensuring Covid safety guidelines are followed. We appreciate your patience and promise the line will move quickly!

Join us for a Virtual Family Workshop, “Creativity and Problem Solving Through STEM”. The workshop will be in English at 6 PM and Spanish at 7 PM. Flyers will be sent home on Monday with registration information.

If your student is not feeling well or has any symptoms of COVID-19 listed below, has been exposed to someone with COVID-19, or tested positive for COVID-19 (provide a copy of test results to the health office), they must stay home from school. Notify the School Nurse if any of these occur: cough, chills, sore throat, muscle pain, fever 100° or higher, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, new loss of taste or smell, congestion, fatigue, headache, runny nose, nausea/vomiting, or diarrhea.

Wynn ES tendrá una feria de libros esta semana en la biblioteca. Las familias pueden venir con su estudiante de 3:15 a 3:45 esta semana, pero deben ingresar por la oficina principal.
