Please review the back-to-school information below:
- The first day of school is Monday, August 9, 2021. Students should be ready to enter the school at 8:40 AM to ensure they are on time when instruction begins. Please ensure they are on time each day. Students will be dismissed at 3:11 PM.
- To ensure the safety of our community, all students in all grades and all adults on campus must have a mask on at all times that completely covers their nose and mouth, which includes when families are in the parking lot or outside.
- If your student is not feeling well or has any symptoms of COVID-19 listed below, has been exposed to someone with COVID-19, or tested positive with COVID-19 (provide a copy of test results to the heath office), they must stay home from school. Notify the School Nurse if any of these occur.

- Shortness of Breath or Difficulty Breathing
- New Loss of Taste or Smell

- The school dress code must be followed by all students. Students must wear closed toe shoes, solid colored tops with a collar and no logos, and bottoms that are fingertip length or longer with no holes. Hats or hoods will only be permitted to be worn outside.
- All students will be served breakfast and lunch at no cost. If your student has food allergies, please let your child’s teacher know and complete the school district health form. Students may still bring their own lunch.
- The first week of school, only one parent/guardian will be allowed to walk his/her student on campus to the student’s line up spot to meet the teacher. The parent/guardian will notify the teacher who will be picking up the student after school from the same spot. Students in fourth and fifth grades may walk home. - Teachers will have signs and all staff will have a master list if you are unsure who your student’s teacher is for this school year.

- Those driving who do not want to get out of the car, may enter the parking lot in the back of the school. Students then can quickly exit the car and then the driver will exit and turn right out of the lot. Keep in mind that younger students can be dropped off in this manner, but after school, a parent or guardian must pick the student up at the line up spot.
- Students in grades 2nd - 5th who are walking will enter in the front of the school on the east side of the building or in the back of the school. Until gates open at 8:40 AM, the students and families must line up single file and remain six feet apart from other families and must wear a mask.
- Students in grades PreK - 1st who are walking will enter in the front of school through the gate on the right of the parking lot. Until the gate opens at 8:40 AM, the students and families must line up single file and remain six feet apart from other students or families and must wear a mask.
- Families may park in the church parking lot across the street and walk on campus. Do not park where there are no parking signs.
- The front parking lot closes every morning from 8:30 - 8:50 AM and in the afternoon from 3:00 - 3:20 PM. Families using the parking lot will not be able to enter or leave the lot during these times.
- Please remember to drive slow and do not make u-turns within the school zone.
- Please do not leave your vehicle unattended unless in a designated parking area to ensure we can keep traffic moving.
- The school will be providing every student with a device that must be brought to and from school each day. It is recommended that every student use a backpack to carry the device and charger each day. More information will be sent home on Tuesday, August 10, 2021.
